Hi, i am Grace and if you’ve ever felt like Lucy & Grace is more than “just a boutique,” you’re right. For me, this place has always been personal. It’s a piece of my childhood, my family, and my heart.

Growing up inside the boutique

When I was little, this boutique was my second home. While other kids ran outside after school, I was often here — sitting on a little stool in the back, watching my mom Lily work her magic.

She didn’t just “sell clothes.” She created moments. She greeted customers like family, remembered their stories, and had this quiet gift of making people feel seen. I still remember her saying things like:

“It’s not just about what looks good — it’s about what feels like you.”

That stayed with me.

From daughter… to owner

Years later, life brought me back here in a way I didn’t plan. I’ve now taken over the boutique from my mother, Lily, and I carry that responsibility with so much love.

Not because I wanted a perfect business… but because I couldn’t let something so rare disappear: a place where people feel cared for, where style feels simple, warm, and real — not pressured.

My mom gave me more than a store. She gave me a standard: kindness, honesty, and quality — always.

A new chapter (with a little chaos and a lot of love)

I’ll be honest: this chapter is new. I’m doing this on my own now, and alongside running Lucy & Grace, I’m also a mom.

My daughter is five years old, full of energy and sweetness — the kind of child who makes strangers smile in seconds. Sometimes she comes into the boutique after school and asks if she can “help” (usually by holding ribbon or telling me which colors she likes best). And somehow… she reminds me why I’m building this.

Being a single mom has made me softer and stronger at the same time. It’s taught me to keep going, to focus on what matters, and to appreciate the smallest moments — a kind message from a customer, a package arriving safely, someone feeling confident in an outfit they didn’t think they could pull off.
